PGMI UIN Malang – FITK (Faculty of Education and Teacher Training) at UIN Malang has initiated the Field Work Practice (PKL) program as part of the annual curriculum. The main objective is to provide students with direct teaching experience through collaboration with schools/madrasahs. On February 20, 2023, the second wave of PKL was conducted after the first wave concluded on October 10, 2022. During this PKL, Maryam Faizah, M. Pd.I, became the Field Supervisor (Dosen Pembimbing Lapangan – DPL) for a group of PGMI students assigned to MI Nurul Ulum, Arjosari, Malang. Three PGMI students were involved in this PKL group.

In an event, Mrs. Maryam Faizah, M. Pd.I, handed over the PKL student group to Mrs. Thoifah, S. Pd.I, the Head of MI Nurul Ulum Arjosari, Malang. She emphasized the importance of maintaining the good reputation of UIN Malang, as MI Nurul Ulum established its first collaboration with UIN Malang in 2023. MI Nurul Ulum warmly welcomed the presence of PKL students from UIN Malang and hoped that they would provide a good learning experience to the students for the next 1.5 months.

The PKL activities took place from February 20, 2023, to April 15, 2023. The students in the PKL group were greatly encouraged to collaborate effectively and uphold the good name of UIN Malang.
