The PGMI Program Participated in a Curriculum Workshop Organized by the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Attended by All Programs within FITK

PGMI UIN Malang – Yogya, March 18, 2023 – The PGMI program participated in a curriculum workshop organized by the Faculty of Tarbiyah and attended by all programs within FITK. The workshop took place in Yogyakarta from March 17th to 18th, 2023. The visit began on Friday, March 17th, with a visit to Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. The first day of the workshop at UNY focused on the curriculum of the program based on outcome-based education. The session was conducted by Dr. Ali Muhtadi, M.Pd., and lasted for three hours from 08:00 to 11:00. It provided insights into the foundation of educational development through outcome-based learning.


On the second day of the workshop, held on March 18th, 2023, at Universitas Islam Negeri Yogyakarta, the session took place at R.M. GoeBoeng Cafe. Dr. Andi Prastowo, M.Pd.I., served as the facilitator and discussed Outcome-Based Education in relation to preparing for accreditation from Lamdik or FIBAA. The workshop, which lasted for three hours from 09:00 to 12:00, focused on creating meaningful and goal-oriented curriculum structures that align with the vision and objectives of the program.


Overall, the workshop provided valuable knowledge for the PGMI program and will contribute to its success in achieving excellent accreditation from Lamdik and FIBAA. Alhamdulillah, the workshop was beneficial and supports the journey of the PGMI program towards excellence. Ameen.


PGMI UIN Maliki Malang embarked on a visit to PGMI UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogya to learn about the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum. The visit aimed to enhance the understanding of PGMI UIN Maliki Malang students regarding the implementation of OBE in the field of education. The delegation from PGMI UIN Maliki Malang was warmly received by the faculty and students of PGMI UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogya.

During the visit, various activities were organized to facilitate knowledge exchange and hands-on learning experiences. This included attending seminars and workshops conducted by experienced faculty members of PGMI UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogya, who shared their expertise in implementing the OBE curriculum. The students from PGMI UIN Maliki Malang had the opportunity to engage in discussions, ask questions, and participate in practical activities related to OBE.

The visit aimed to provide insights and practical examples of how OBE can be implemented effectively in the PGMI program.
