PGMI FITK UIN Malang – March 27, 2023 – The Class Representative Forum (FKK) activity for PGMI students was held in Room KDM 1, located in the Micro Building of the Faculty of Tarbiyah. The event gathered all class representatives and secretaries from the 2021 and 2022 batches, where a lot of information was shared. The FKK aims to activate student activities and ensure the optimal learning process among PGMI students. The session was led by the department’s secretary, Mrs. Maryam Faizah, M.Pd.I., accompanied by the Head of the PGMI Program, Dr. Bintoro Widodo, M.Kes. They discussed various PGMI activities tailored to students who have been experiencing a hiatus due to the pandemic. The activities include: Reviving regular activities such as recitation and student activities; Reviving the tradition of wearing batik uniforms for the respective cohorts and Reviving activities such as the “Rumah Bibit” (Nursery House), art studio, research, and more.

PGMI UIN Malang has initiated the establishment of the Class Representative Forum (FKK) as a means to improve student achievements and encourage their creative works. The FKK serves as a platform for students to voice their ideas, concerns, and aspirations, as well as collaborate on various projects and activities. Through the FKK, PGMI aims to create a supportive and collaborative environment that fosters the development of students’ talents, skills, and academic achievements. The forum provides an avenue for students to share their experiences, exchange knowledge, and learn from one another. It also encourages them to engage in extracurricular activities, such as research projects, community service initiatives, and creative works.

The FKK activity is expected to support students in improving their achievements and contribute to the program’s accreditation in terms of student activities and achievements. It is planned to be held regularly, once a month, to monitor student and program activities. The primary goal of the FKK is to provide maximum services to students and support the PGMI program in delivering excellent student services.

The FKK organizes regular meetings, workshops, and seminars to enhance students’ leadership skills, critical thinking abilities, and problem-solving capabilities. It also facilitates networking opportunities with alumni, industry professionals, and experts in the field of PGMI. By actively involving students in decision-making processes and providing them with opportunities for personal and professional growth, the FKK plays a crucial role in elevating the overall performance and achievements of PGMI students. Moreover, the FKK collaborates with other student organizations and academic departments within PGMI to organize events, competitions, and exhibitions that showcase students’ talents and achievements. These activities not only promote healthy competition but also inspire students to strive for excellence in their academic pursuits and creative endeavors.

Through the efforts of the FKK, PGMI UIN Malang aims to create a vibrant and dynamic academic community where students are actively engaged, motivated, and empowered to reach their full potential.
