PGMI UIN Malang – Yogyakarta, July 1, 2023 – The Accreditation Team of the Faculty of Islamic Education and Teacher Training (FITK) of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang has participated in the Lamdik (Independent Accreditation Agency for Education) and FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) International Accreditation Training conducted by the Cluster 3 FITK Team of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The training was attended by renowned speakers in their fields, namely Dr. Aninditya Sri Nugraheni, M.Pd., and Prof. Dr. H. Suyadi, S.Ag., M.A.

During this one-day training, the FITK Accreditation Team of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang had the opportunity to deepen their understanding and skills in the Lamdik accreditation process and FIBAA international accreditation. The activity aimed to ensure that FITK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang can meet the quality standards set by the accreditation body. Dr. Aninditya Sri Nugraheni, M.Pd., one of the speakers in this training, provided technical explanations about the importance of Lamdik accreditation in improving the quality of education in higher education institutions. She explained that Lamdik accreditation is a systematic and comprehensive evaluation process of all aspects of education in higher education institutions, including the Faculty of Islamic Education and Teacher Training (FITK) of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. H. Suyadi, S.Ag., M.A. stated that in the accreditation process, FITK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang will be evaluated based on the criteria and standards set by the accreditation body. This evaluation includes assessments of the curriculum, teaching staff, educational facilities, quality assurance system, and institutional policies and governance. The accreditation team will conduct visits to the institution to examine and collect data, as well as conduct interviews with various stakeholders. The FITK Accreditation Team of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang also took proactive steps in preparing for the accreditation process with the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA). In an effort to improve the quality of the Self-Evaluation Report (SER) preparation, the team held a best practice training session with two leading experts in the field, Dr. Rohinah, S.Pd.I., M.A., and Prof. Dr. Sigit Purnama, S.Pd.I., M.Pd.

The FITK Accreditation Team of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang feels very fortunate to have participated in this workshop. They hope that with the new knowledge and skills acquired, they will be able to improve the quality of education in FITK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang and achieve Lamdik accreditation as well as FIBAA international accreditation. Dr. Muhammad Walid MA., Vice Dean 1 of FITK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, welcomes the participation of the accreditation team in the training. He hopes that the accreditation team can utilize the knowledge and experience gained to develop the education system and improve the quality of FITK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The Lamdik and FIBAA International Accreditation Training conducted by Cluster 3 FITK Team of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta has made a significant contribution to preparing the Accreditation Team of FITK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang for their duties. FITK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang hopes to achieve high accreditation and continue to improve the quality of education in the future.
