Preparing Students’ Competence in Foreign Language Proficiency, ICP PGMI FITK Students Organize TOEFL Workshop.

PGMI UIN Malang – PGMI UIN Malang has a vision of achieving international reputation. To accomplish this vision, PGMI, assisted by the International Class Program (ICP), undertakes various efforts. One of the initiatives is to enhance students’ competence in foreign languages, particularly English and Arabic, as these two languages are the most commonly used foreign languages within UIN Malang’s environment. ICP, as the unit responsible for improving students’ foreign language proficiency, brought in three TOEFL experts. These experts conducted mentoring sessions for students in preparation for the TOEFL test, which is crucial for their career prospects upon entering the workforce. “TOEFL is one of the requirements for job applications,” said Dr. Like Rascova, the head of ICP.
