PGMI UIN Malang – One of the PGMI students representing FITK UIN Malang successfully received an award at “The 2nd Annual International Conference on Islamic Education for Students (AICOIES) 2023” held at Niagara Hotel, Parapat, Lake Toba, North Sumatra. The conference, with the theme “Enriching Future Generations through Islamic Character Education in Building Millennial Religious Moderation,” was one of the series of events organized by the Forum of Deans of FITK (FORDETAK) from PTKIN throughout Indonesia. 

During the event, all student delegates from PTKIN throughout Indonesia were required to write articles based on the theme and present them offline in front of the audience. With an article titled “Profession Puppet Board as Indonesian Learning Media to Develop Students’ Speaking Skills,” Putri Nur Faizah, a PGMI student from the 2019 cohort, successfully received The 3rd Most Innovative Article award. This achievement would not have been possible without the guidance of the supervising lecturers, Maryam Faizah, M. Pd.I, Benny Afwadzi, M. Hum as the Head of Research Center and Academic Writing at UIN Malang, and Dr. Marno, M. Ag, as the Vice Dean III.

With this achievement, it is hoped that it will serve as motivation and inspire the PGMI students at UIN Malang to excel both nationally and internationally.
