PGMI UIN Malang – The Special English Language Learning Program (PKPBI) at UIN Malang recently held a major competition that lasted for two weeks. The event took place at the Sport Center Building and was participated by all students from the 2021 cohort at UIN Malang. The competition included the Short Movie Contest, Infographic Contest with the theme of Gen-Z, Technology, and Harmonious Society, and the Acoustic Singing Contest. One of the contests that PGMI students participated in was the Acoustic Singing Contest. The students who took part in the event were Afifah Nabila Nuur Diyanti, Muhammad Akmalul Muhsin, Fiqhy Octavian Ardy, and Khoiriyatul Fitriyah. In the competition, the PGMI students achieved the 2nd Runner Up position in the Acoustic Competition.
The Chairman of PKPBI, Dr. Agwin Degaf, expressed his relief as his team was able to organize a significant event at the Language Development Center, specifically for PKPBI, after a three-year hiatus. “Alhamdulillah, the enthusiasm of PKPBI students is still remarkable,” he said. This was evident from the high number of participants in each competition among departments and their active participation in making the event a success.
